| Review: | The Worst Customer Service Experience of my Life I have spent over 6 hours of my life (mostly on hold) dealing with representatives who are only skilled at lying and pushing my buttons. My puppy became sick 1 week after I adopted him and, despite being insured through ShelterCare, I was left footing over $1200 in vet bills. He was hospitalized on 6/12 and taken back to emergency on 6/14. ShelterCare, according to their terms, should have covered roundworms (the diagnosis), but instead found every way possible to delay/deny processing our claims. Aside from the time spent on hold, ShelterCare also sent me on several 45 minute round trips to the vet to get more paperwork. I was told by "supervisors" both verbally and in writing that out claims would be expedited within 24 hours. Expedite= 1 month of run-a-round. The only prompt derpartment with ShelterCare is the sales department. I have since cancelled my policy and will never purchase anything from them again. |
