Review: This insurance co is a complete scam!
We read a lot of reviews and info to find the best pet ins co for our two dogs. We thought this was it until one of our dogs was injured. They wouldn't cover any part of it trying to find any reason to show our claim was out of the coverage terms. Bottom line it was completely within the coverage terms and they wouldn't pay a penny of our $4000 injury regardless. Our vet told us after the fact they have received many complaints of the same story regarding this and several other ins co. Best suggestion is to simply save up in preparation of an injury or illness. Whatever you do don't use this company, they are a scam and won't pay for anything they claim to cover!

Review: Don't waste your money on this one!
This company has horrible customer service. One rep actually just hung up the phone on me when I was asking a question he did not care to answer. They seem to always find a pre-existing condition no matter what. Deny preventative maintenace such as having x-rays to see if there was a possible leg fracture and denied a claim for an eye infection. You go through all the trouble to file a claim and they find a reason to turn it down. Save your time and money on this one.

Review: Bait and Switch
I spent a lot of time researching companies and plans prior to choosing petplan. I carefully selected the policy that was right for us. We have not filed a claim ever. Our first year's policy is about to expire, and I got a renewal letter saying they are changing our policy and increasing the fees by $50/year. This is a 27% increase, and we have never made a claim!! What a bad company!!

Review: Best Pet Insurance Out of Any And I've Tried All!!
Over the years i've used just about every pet insurance program there is and have been disapointed to one degree to another by all. Then I found PetPlan. They are not just better, they are the best. No hastles, no problems, just do what they claim to do. Pay on time, care about your pet, premiums are in keeping with everyone's the difference is they allow you to set your own co-pay and deductible and pay what your vet charges, NOT what THEY think your pet SHOULD charge. Out of a recent 2200.00 dollar bill for stomach surgery on one of my dogs, I was reimbursed 2150.00 within three weeks.
